Description

The Walters Herald – Sept. 15, 1938
Dedication of the new $35,000 Temple school stadium is scheduled for Monday night. Bands have been invited from 35 towns to attend and compete in the afternoon band contest. For the first time since football became a competitive sport on Temple’s schedule back in 1920, local fans and boosters will have something in the way of a stadium that has all the latest wrinkles. The new stadium, constructed by the WPA, seats 3,000 fans comfortable, and will seat 4,000 with a little trouble. Miss Dorothy Stogner is the Dedication Queen.

This stadium is still standing and in use by the Temple school. [2]
