Description:

Constructed of rusticated and coursed native sandstone, the structure is single story with flat and arched roof lines.  It measures approximately 93 feet by 87 feet. The building is open, with doors and windows out. The roof is leading. The outside is so grown-up with brush that the building is virtually obscured from the road. The building is all that remains of the Featherstone public school. The building is a good example of WPA constructed gymnasium/auditorium facilities. If saved and restored, it could be a center of rural community life.
