Description:

A two room classroom facility, the Garden Grove School is a single-story, rectangular (53′ x 37′) structure constructed of wood frame and clapboard siding. The roof is hipped with a central gable that rises above the two door recessed entryway. The windows, which rise to the eaves on the classroom side, are wood sash. Unfortunately the building is in a state of neglect.
This structure is relatively unique because of its wood frame and clapboard siding. The WPA constructed several such buildings, but not all that many are left. The construction of the school provided jobs for the destitute and ushered in a new era of education for the small rural community.

VERBAL BOUNDARY DESCRIPTION: Situated south of Prague, the school building property is one and one-half acre tract in the SW corner of Sec. 15, T 11 N, R 5 E.
