Description

A two story native stone building with a native stone stairway leading to the rear of the building. Original using WPA funds for labor or native stone. The building served the community until September 1, 1986 as the library. From the Formal Opening brochure that was provided by the local librarian the building was a impressive built structure that include two stories but built on a hill thereby giving a stairway to back upstairs and lower entrance for first floor.

Per email conversation with local librarian the building was a private residence for many years and was sold to a former resident in the area who promised to make it a community center about 10 years ago, but sadly is steadily deteriorating.

Builder: Larry Skinner
