Description:
This essentially rectangular building measures 75 feet by 75 feet and is constructed from very colorful uncut and uncoursed native stone. The roof is arched with parapets on the front and rear; it extends to eaves on the sides. One of the two front entryways is obscured by the addition a small cinder block enclosure. Window openings, with concrete sills, reach to the eaves on the sides. All are either enclosed with fiber glas panels or new fixed metal windows. Unfortunately a cinder block addition to the south end of the structure impeaches its integrity.

The gym is exceptional for its workmanship, scale, and beauty. Its construction provided jobs for destitute persons suffering from the economic depression. The gym has served many years in promoting physical education among the youth of the community.
