Description:
Designed as a two-room school house, the Beachton school building was constructed of wood frame and clapboard siding. It is single story and has a gable roof. Alteration has been significant, with window and door openings rearranged. The alterations have destroyed the integrity of the structure. That the structure is of wood frame and siding makes it rather unique in southeastern Oklahoma for a WPA building. that region most are of native stone.
